XinaBox Capacitive Touch Module for CAP1296 [SH01]; 174-3734

Based on the CAP1296 by Microchip Technology, this xChip is a sophisticated sensor module. A multiple channel capacitive touch sensor controller, it features four capacitive touch sensor inputs which you can programme with various sensitivities. For high accuracy results, each input is calibrated to compensate for gradual changes in the environment.

You can also set-up the CAP1296 to detect proximity on one or more channels with an optional signal guard to lessen noise sensitivity. It comes complete with Multiple Pattern Touch recognition that lets you choose a specific set of buttons to be touched simultaneously. When this pattern is registered, a status bit is set and an interrupt generated.
