Handy as a sensor data display, this module xChip features an OLED display unit capable of displaying just about any text or graphics.
Although only around 0.96 in. diagonal, these miniature displays are crystal clear and legible thanks to the ultra-high contrasts typical of OLED technology. Formed from 128 x 64 individual monochrome OLED pixels, each is switched on or off by the controller chip. No backlight is needed since the display emits its own light, minimising the power required to run the OLED whilst generating the high contrast.
